TEMPEST UPDATE

From April 11- 13, a team from Tempest digital marketing and website agency visited Rancho Cordova and the surrounding attractions. Thank you to Hyatt Place for hosting them! The Tempest team is currently working on a creative brief and branding for Rancho Cordova Travel & Tourism. If you missed them while they were here, fear not! Leena and Marc and happy to forward your thoughts and ideas for this new RCTT chapter.

Tis the season to be busy with events!

Please note that Rio Strada Race Series will be in town from May 5th-6th. Additionally, the US Rowing Southwest JRs Championships will be competing on that same weekend from May 4th- 6th at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center. Also, the Aquatic Center will host the Pac-12 Rowing Championships on May 13th.

SAFE AND COMPLIANT

Effective July 1, OSHA will require "housekeepers in lodging establishments ... requirements for a hotel housekeeping musculoloskeletal injury prevention program (MIPP), ... Section 3345" (Davis, ALERT, 2018). Like an IPP, this safety plan must be in writing. Please review the Cal/OSHA Standards Board website at www.dir.ca.gov.
