In Rancho Cordova, we're lucky to have the world-class Sacramento State Aquatic Center nearby. This rowing destination draws athletes and spectators from around the world to compete in a variety of events in a beautiful setting. Here are the top rowing events to check out this spring.

Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships

When: April 25-26, 2020

What: Dozens of teams from Universities across the Western United States will meet and compete on Lake Natoma at the Nimbus Flat State Park. Watch the men's and women's teams face off and enjoy the beautiful surroundings plus outdoor activities in the park.

Admission: Admission is $10 per person, per day and will be cash only.

Parking: There will be off-site parking available with a park and ride shuttle bus. Overflow parking will be $10 per vehicle and cash only

Southwest Regional Junior Rowing Championships

When: May 1-3, 2020

What: Watch as the next generation of rowers competes in almost 50 heats. These student-athletes will represent high schools from across California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.

Admission: Admission is $10 per person, per day and will be cash only.

Parking: Event parking will be located at the Hartford & Health Net buildings (Gold Point Office Park) for $10 per vehicle (cash only). A free shuttle bus will transport guests from the parking area to the event. More event information here.
