Taking It In

Rancho Cordova is a beautiful, year-round outdoor destination with mild weather during the fall and winter. We invite you to come enjoy the cooler temperatures, postcard-worthy scenery and our favorite outdoor activities.

Tantalizing Wine Tasting

Fall and winter are recognized as the harvest seasons for our local orchards. This means fun-filled wine festivals and beautiful tours through the Sierra Foothills wine country. This region is internationally recognized for producing delicious Zinfandels, though Syrahs, Viogniers and Tempranillos are also quite popular. Nearby Lodi, Amador County and El Dorado County are ripe with wineries and tasting rooms for you to wander and enjoy. Make a weekend getaway to Rancho Cordova and take advantage of the Sierra Foothills Wine Country Passport and enjoy complimentary tastings at participating wineries.
