For those who like to hit the links, Rancho Cordova offers three golf courses where you can channel your inner Tiger Woods year-round. The Mather Golf Course is an 18-hole course designed by Jack Fleming in 1959 on a former Air Force base. Players can take lessons, shop, and dine at the Navigator Cafe. What’s more, it is one of the first twenty-five Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary courses in California.
The Ancil Hoffman Golf Course, designed by Willaim Francis Bell in 1965, is a serene yet challenging course in Sacramento County, offering lessons and breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks at The Main Event Bar & Grill. The 18-hole public Cordova Golf Course features a lighted driving range, a pro shop, and lessons from PGA professionals.
