The Mather Golf Course is an 18-hole course designed by Jack Fleming in 1959 on a former Air Force base. Players can take lessons, shop, and dine at the Navigator Cafe. What’s more, it is one of the first twenty-five Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary courses in California.
The Ancil Hoffman Golf Course, designed by Willaim Francis Bell in 1965, is a serene yet challenging course in Sacramento County, offering lessons and breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks at The Main Event Bar & Grill. The 18-hole public Cordova Golf Course features a lighted driving range, a pro shop, and lessons from PGA professionals.

The Sacramento State Aquatic Center is located on Lake Natoma in Gold River and offers places to swim, boat, and kayak to the general public and students. In fact, the center is a regional boating instruction safety center funded by the California Department of Boating and Waterways.
