Our bold, confident logo font was carefully selected and expertly customized to capture the welcoming, adventurous spirit of our destination's landscape, outdoor attractions, and bright vision for the future, offering a modern look that feels friendly and self-assured. Its custom serif swashes (pay close attention to letters "R," "H," "C," and "A") were designed to reflect the flowing waters of the American River.

Alongside our logo, a multifaceted “tile” icon brings layers of meaning:

1. At its center, the inner diamond evokes a destination marker symbol, declaring that Rancho Cordova is more than a hidden gem - it's a hot spot on the map.
2. Radiating outward, the dark blue core linework mirrors the propeller of a plane, honoring our city’s rich aviation history.
3. The periwinkle blue floral layer pays tribute to Rancho Cordova’s official city flower, the Baby Blue Eyes, infusing the mark with a touch of local charm.
4. Finally, the outer border forms an emblem reminiscent of a ceramic tile or cultural textile, an intentional nod to the diversity that shapes our community. When placed in a repeating pattern with our color variations, the tile icon creates a vibrant "mosaic" or "tapestry."

Visit Rancho Cordova’s new color palette was thoughtfully chosen to reflect the vibrant spirit, natural landscape, and signature attractions of our destination. The palette remains bright and uplifting to convey optimism and a sense of adventure, with a subtle retro undertone that nods to our community’s history.

Throughout the process, we carefully reviewed the color palettes of neighboring destinations to ensure ours feels distinctive and unmistakably Rancho Cordova, to stand out while staying true to who we are.

Baby Blue Eyes: Inspired by Rancho Cordova’s beloved city flower, Baby Blue Eyes (Nemophila menziesii), proudly chosen by a resident vote in 2024. It reflects a shared sense of care, optimism, and the natural beauty that blooms when community pride takes root.

Riverbend: A refreshing tone that mirrors our front-row access to the American River, one of our region’s most treasured natural assets.

Festival: This hue reflects the sense of community connection found in Rancho Cordova’s cultural gatherings, events, and shared traditions.

Mather: Strong and grounded, Mather pays tribute to our aviation legacy that helped shape Rancho Cordova’s past and continues to propel its future.

Gold Country: This color nods to our regional roots and California history, uniting us with neighboring communities through opportunity, resilience, and discovery.

Adventure: This energizing hue captures the spirit of exploration, innovation, and the forward momentum of Rancho Cordova’s bright future.

Mermaid: Playful, unexpected, and a little magical, Mermaid reflects Rancho Cordova’s delightfully quirky side, honoring the unique conventions, creative attractions, and imaginative experiences that surprise visitors and remind residents that fun is part of our identity.

Heritage: This color grounds our palette in respect, remembrance, and gratitude for the Indigenous peoples and enduring cultures that stewarded this land long before city incorporation and continue to shape our region.
