Looking for ways to give back during the holiday season? The annual Run to Feed the Hungry is the largest Thanksgiving day fun run in the country!
The largest Thanksgiving run in California, the Run to Feed to Hungry includes a 5K and a 10K run or walk through the streets of East Sacramento on Thanksgiving morning. Proceeds from the run support the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services organization.
The 2024 Run to Feed the Hungry will take place on November 28, 2024 from 8:15 AM – 12:00 PM.

| Parking: | Plenty of free parking is available in and around Sac State. Please be advised that the J Street entrance to Sac State will be closed to all vehicles until after the race concludes. Additional parking exists on the residential streets between 56th and 58th Streets between M and H Streets. Download the map to see the best places to park at Sac State and the surrounding areas. Please allow plenty of time for parking. For quick arrival and departure, consider biking to Run to Feed the Hungry. Free bike parking will be available near the start line. Bring a lock for security. |
