UC MASTER GARDENERS OF SACRAMENTO COUNTY PRESENT HARVEST DAY 2022

Experience, imagine, learn and have fun at the free Harvest Day 2022. Be ready with your camera for photo ops throughout the garden. Take a selfie with the celebrity All American Selections tomatoes in the veggie garden. Strike a pose with a bouquet from the Water-Efficient Landscape Gardens. Capture the wonder of wiggling worms. Snap a pic of your face in a sunflower.

Be inspired by the vertical, straw bale and container gardens. Master Gardeners will be available in all areas of the garden so it’s a great opportunity to ask lots of questions and listen in on a wide variety of mini-talks throughout the day.

Featured horticultural experts will speak about selecting the right trees for our changing climate, building robust soil to sustain your garden with less water, and creating a wildlife-friendly landscape. Visit local community organizations at their booths to get free info, shop at the garden specialty merchants and picnic with a snack from one of the food vendors.
