May 12, 2023 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Andrea Bocelli, an Italian tenor with numerous accolades and multi-platinum sales, has announced new US tour dates for February and May 2023, including a performance with the Sacramento Philharmonic on Friday, May 12, at Golden 1 Center.
His concert will include music from various albums, including Believe, his most recent full-length studio album, as well as Arias, well-known love songs, and songs from his wide-ranging repertory.
Over 75 million records have been sold worldwide since 1994 when Bocelli released 15 solo studio albums of pop and classical music, three best hits collections, and nine full operas. As a crossover musician, he has been successful in pushing classical music to the top of worldwide pop charts. One of the best-selling albums of all time is his Romanza, and the most popular classical solo artist record in history is Sacred Arias.
One of the top-selling holiday albums in the US and the best-selling holiday album of 2009 was My Christmas. The 2019 album S, Bocelli's first to reach the top spot on the charts in both the UK and the US, debuted at number one on both lists. One of his all-time top singles is his song "Con te Partir," which appears on his second album Bocelli.
