Enjoy a day of getting the event buyer treatment alongside other Rancho Cordova peers! You're invited to our hosted community familiarization trip and focus group, better known as Destination Analysis.

Details:

  • When: Friday, March 20, 2026
  • Time: 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Where: Meet for pick-up at Movement Brewing Co: 11151 Trade Center Dr, Ste 104/105, Rancho Cordova
  • Food: Snacks, lunch and focus group beers and bites will be provided
  • What: The official itinerary will be confirmed and distributed at a later date, but the day consists of activities and teambuilding, with a closing focus group with a third-party facilitator
  • Swag: You know we never leave you empty-handed! Specially curated swag will be gifted to all attendees

Registration:

  • Each property/organization may register one (1) representative
  • This event is free to attend, but closed to the general public
  • All attendees will be required to sign waivers for Visit Rancho Cordova and potentially venue activities
  • Registration closes, Tuesday, March 3, 2026
  • Attendees must be able to attend the event in its entirety, including riding in group transportation
  • We suggest sending a member of your organization who has not attended DA before, but love repeat attendees, too!

11 AM - 12 PM: Site visit and activity at Par 18 Golf

12 PM - 12:30 PM: Lunch Boxes by Pocket Deli

12:30 PM - 1 PM: Transport

1 PM - 2:30 PM: Site visit at Sacramento Splash and the Vernal Pools

2:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Transport

3:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Focus Group, Beers and Bites

  • Destination Analysis is an annual event where we showcase pieces of our city you may not have visited before, teach you about our storytelling strategy to drive overnight visitation, present visitor feedback, offer tools to engage visitors, and listen to your feedback in our closing focus group
  • Rain or Shine! If it gets a little wet, we will have gear to keep you dry
  • Suggested attire: flat, comfortable walking shoes that can get a little dirty, pants and layers for indoor and outdoor activities
  • Please be diligent about attending if you RSVP. We confirm headcounts after the RSVP date, and spend funds accordingly that we cannot get back after a certain date. If you need to substitute another from your organization, we are happy to swap!
