State of the City — November 2
Join the Rancho Cordova City Council at the Rancho Cordova City Hall for the annual State of the City, Dreaming BIG Together event. This free civic gathering offers you the chance to hear from Rancho Cordova’s mayor during the State of the City Address as he takes stock of where the city is and what is coming in the future. The event starts with a complimentary reception at
5:30 p.m., with the address beginning at 6:30 p.m.
4th Annual Run the Parkway — November 6
Grab your sneakers and make your way to the 4th annual Run the Parkway. While this is the official training run for the California International Marathon, offering a 20-mile and half marathon, it’s also an untimed 4-mile out-and-back nature walk (walkers can turn around at any time) that is fun for the whole family. Plus, proceeds from the event go directly to the American River Parkway Foundation to aid in its mission to maintain the preservation and enjoyment of the parkway for locals and visitors.

Heart Craft Studio Holiday Market — November 26
Kick off your holiday shopping while celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Holiday Market at Heart Craft Studio. Shop local during Small Business Saturday, try your hand at a few make-and-take projects, participate in some exciting giveaways, and take cute holiday photos in the festive photo booth. Plus, you can RSVP for an entry into the raffle giveaway. The festivities last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; food and coffee vendors will be there.

Cordova Community Christmas Tree Lighting — November 27
Oh, come all ye joyful to the Cordova Community Christmas Tree Lightning in Village Green Park. This annual festival is a feast for the senses, with music and stage performances, fireworks, snow, amusement rides, street food, exhibits, vendors, and much more. Plus, Santa makes an appearance to find out what all the good little girls and boys wish for this holiday season. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. and last till 7:30 p.m.
