Located at the edge of Lake Natoma, the Sacramento State Aquatic Center offers perfect gifts for the water sport lover in your life. Classes offered include sailing and windsurfing, paddling, boating, rowing, and wakeboarding, among many others. And if you’re looking for something more involved, consider one of the aquatic center’s membership programs. Memberships are open to the public and provide reduced rates for classes and rentals, in addition to weight room and rowing machine access.
Prairie City State Vehicle Recreation Area
For the offroad adventurer, the Prairie City State Vehicle Recreation Area is the perfect place, catering to both experts and newbies in the offroad vehicle space. The terrain is varied, providing unique experiences for motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and four-wheel drive vehicles.
But to experience these rugged and picturesque tracks, you need a pass. Luckily, the California State Parks offers an off-highway vehicle day use annual pass for $50.

Underground Books is a Black-owned bookstore in Oak Park (Sacramento) and is a nonprofit under St. HOPE which serves as a social gathering spot for locals.
